MOJA MALA KALA – MY LITTLE ALLEY

Alley by alley, memory upon memory…

This is, in brief, how your journey through the old town of Crikvenica on Saturday 29 July will look – streets full of history and tradition, where every stone and every alley tells its own story and fires the imagination.

Moja Mala Kala – My Little Alley is not just an event that will premiere on that day, but also a love story between tradition and the people of Crikvenica. Don’t miss the chance to hear that story...
All visitors can also be active participants, in ancient courtyards that will be turned into mini-stages with stone steps as wonderful backdrops for music, dance, a children’s corner, presentations of folk customs, street performers, and local food and wine.
Take a step into our time machine and find out what traditional music played on sopile woodwind instruments sounds like, try out painting with the help of an artist, learn how to make a laurel wreath, and taste crkveniške rupice, a dish that can only be enjoyed here – accompanied, of course, by a glass of local wine.

There are many more activities waiting for you, but you’ll want to discover them yourself!
See you on 29 July, when, starting at 20:00, the ‘stars’ of this event, the town’s alleys – Kala svetog Antona, Kala Andrije Kačića, Kala Grgura Ninskog, Gorica braće Cvetić, Školska, and Ulica Pavla Radića – will become the most charming part of the town, enjoyed by all generations.
Discover the hidden corners of our town, take a peek into its romantic alleys and courtyards, and let them be the most creative silent storytellers, full of wisdom and experience.

The event is organised by Crikvenica Tourist Board, and the sponsors are the Town of Crikvenica and the public utility companies Eko - Murvica d.o.o. and VIO Žrnovnica Crikvenica - Vinodol d.o.o.

Every day in our little alleys there is a photo related to tradition!
Find a photo and take a selfie with it in the place where you found it. Take the photo to the Crikvenica Tourist Info Center (Stjepan Radić Square 1c, part of the International Hotel) where a reward for effort and success awaits you. The treasure hunt will take place every day from Monday, July 24, to Saturday, July 29, starting at 10:00 a.m. The folder with callas is below. Good luck in your search!
