St. Jacobs Fest 2014 ist starting!

In the next ten days Jadranovo will be in festive attire.  The small coastal place will  joyfully celebrate their patron, St. Jacob.
"Jakovlja 2014" , the richest summer event in Jadranovo, starts in Thursday, July 17th. We expect an interesting and varied program of entertainment, cultural, sporting and religious character, which will last until until Saturday, July 26th.
In the very beginning, July 17th, at 21 oclock on the waterfront „Mulina“ a concert under the name "Melodies with the taste of the sea“ will present the original Mario Battifiaca accompanied by Robert Grubišić. We will also enjoy stage performances, and on the 18th of July in a play "Postolarska zadruga Hreljin" and the play "Sve o ženama". Sports fans will enjoy the „Paddles Of Jadranovo“ (July 20), Water Polo Tournament (July 25th) and traditional international bowling tournament "Jakovlja 2014." (July 26th). Cultural clubs "Martin Matetić" and "Sloga" will hold a concert on  July 18th.

The centerpiece of the celebration of this year's "Jakovlja" will take place on the day of the celebration of Saint Jacob, the patron saint, on Friday, July 25th with the traditional morning procession with the statue of St..Jacob and Holy Mass in front of St. Jacobs church. In the evening of that day there will be a  big party with Jasmin Stavros and midnight fireworks.
