KATUNAR POLYCLINIC

Katunar polyclinic, the first registered private polyclinic in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, was established in 1994. Its wide-ranging offer includes a tourist clinic and a variety of specialist services. The polyclinic has a staff of permanent employees and a dozen associates, renowned specialist physicians who are leading experts in individual fields of medicine. The list of specialist health services includes internal medical examinations, haematological-biochemical laboratory blood and urine tests, ultrasound examinations, gynaecological examinations, X-ray examinations, ophthalmologic examinations, urological examinations, surgical and ultrasound breast examination for early detection of malignant tumours, dermatology and venereology examinations, clinical and ultrasound examinations of the thyroid gland, lymph nodes, blood vessels and tumours in the neck area, orthopaedic examinations in cooperation with Lovran Orthopaedic Clinic, and other specialist and advisory examinations. The tourist clinic within the polyclinic plays an important role in the health tourism during the high season.
