The joyful 7th Summer Carnival in Dramalj

The 7th Summer Carnival is ahead of us. On July 26th the carnival will bring together some thirty groups with about 700 carnival fans, whose colorful and imaginative costumes and the typical sounds of drums and songs will attract the attention of many visitors. Along with the hosts and groups from the area of the Crikvenica Riviera, many groups from the surrounding area and the neighboring areas (Tribalj Bribir, Grižane, Drivenik, Bakar, Bakarac, Kraljevica, Krasica, Križišće, Praputnjak, Šmrika, etc.) will participate on the carnival in Dramalj.
Gathering of the groups is at 18 o´clock near the church of St. Helena in Dramalj. From there  the cheerful procession will part at about 19 o´clock and walk the streets. The last stop of the the port Pazdehova, where visitors will be able to have fun with various games, and this year's Miss Carnival will be chosen. This is followed by a Fishermen´s festival, whose main participants are delicious and fresh seafood and music group "Tabako", who will be in charge of music and dancing.  Visitors  will also enjoy fireworks at midnight.
