Experience Crikvenica - Gastro

This autumn offers a special designed gastronomic, wellness and outdoor/recreation experience for all guests of Riviera Crikvenica.

Crikvenica Tourist Board has merged all the best of Riviera Crikvenica in gastro/wellness/outdoor areas under the project  "Experience Crikvenica".

This project includes a special offer of autumn dishes in selected restaurants, organised outdoor recreation and fitness activities and relaxing wellness programs in hotels and health centers from September 24 to August 31, 2021.

 

The restaurants on the Crikvenica Riviera (Hotel Esplanade, Hotel Crikvenica, Karoca, Burin and Ulika), have prepared special autumn menus in three or five courses for the price of 120 or 240 kn / person. The gastronomic theme is autumn and autumn groceries.

 

Hotel Crikvenica

  • Creamy pumpkin soup
  • Grilled pork medallions with mushroom risotto
  • Apple pie with vanilla ice cream

 

Hotel Esplanade

Three courses:

  • Creamy pumpkin soup
  • Boškarin (Istrian cattle) cheeks, plum sauce on chestnut cream
  • Apple pie

 

Five courses:

  • Roast beef with red pepper coulis and sheep cheese in teran
  • Creamy pumpkin soup, pear and chilli threads mousse
  • Homemade ravioli stuffed with capon and curd, boletus and crispy bacon sauce
  • Boškarin (Istrian cattle) cheeks, plum sauce on chestnut cream
  • Lovran chestnut cake

 

Karoca

  • Homemade forest mushroom soup with fried bacon anf traditional cheese strukli
  • Veal filet mignon with boleut sauce and pumpkin risotto
  • Fig Cheesecake

 

Burin

Three courses:

  • Corn, corn silk, corn cream, roast beef in corn leaf
  • Brisket-demi glace, sweet potato cream, sauteed pumpkin
  • Chocolate pear

 

Five courses:

  • Corn, corn silk, corn cream, roast beef in corn leaf
  • Mushroom and Jerusalem artichoke soup
  • Autumn risotto: zucchini pesto, radicchio, crispy shrimps
  • Brisket-demi glace, sweet potato cream, sauteed pumpkin
  • Chocolate pear

 

Ulika

  • Homemade gnocchi with boletus - mushrooms
  • Turkey rolls with swiss chard and curd on pumpkin cream, stuffed champignons and baked potatoes
  • Poached pear with walnuts
